Visual Identity Rebrand
Founded in 2018, NIB has been committed to offering the highest quality products, cleanliness standards, and customer oriented services inspired by the founder, Jade's, career in the high end fashion industry.
NIB quickly grew from one studio location service type, to multiple locations and spa services in just a couple of years. With her sights set on franchising NIB to a national audience, Jade reached out to Studio Studio to partner on elevating her business's branding to catch the attention of a wider audience, and to accurately reflect the growth her business had already achieved.
Everything from the color palette, the letterforms of the logos, to the photography needed to capture the serene and unique environment of NIB, which eschews industry norms like blaring nail salon tvs, churning pedicure chair motors, and whining acrylic nail drills. The goal of the refreshed branding aimed to capture the feeling of a body relaxing as it steps into a sacred happy place. To this end, the color palette and names were inspired by organic elements and the sights and sounds of NIB. The letterforms in the logos have a confident and languid touch like that of a highly skilled wellness professional. The brand icon (double circle) was designed to show the act of 'glowing from within', the warm sensation of tightness being worked from muscles, and the idea of a community holding individuals within a warm embrace.
